Our sources
Islam-Today answers from three sources:
The Holy Quran
We quote the Arabic text with surah and verse. The German translation is taken from “Der Heilige Qur-ân” (Verlag Der Islam), the English one is by Maulawi Sher Ali. We number the verses the way most editions do. In the editions of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, the Basmala counts as the first verse, so the number there is usually one higher.
The Hadith
Narrations from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw), always with collection and number.
Explanations by Imams
Books, addresses and question and answer sessions by Imams of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, above all by Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (rh), the fourth Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. With every quote we name the book or session.
How we use AI
The AI writes the answer only from these sources. Every quoted passage is checked automatically against our database. Answers can still contain errors and are not a fatwa. If you notice an error, write to us using the contact form.
